Hip-Hop was born in The Bronx in 1973. A product of the resiliency of a neglected community whose creative and activist would not be silenced by a policy of neglect.
Guided by the voices of African Americans Blacks, Puerto Ricans and immigrants, Hip-Hop was forged by a coalition of Italians, Jews, Gay, Straight, men, women and more. All fighting for their voices to be heard.
NLT Camp will take time to explain Hip-Hop's rich history and its impact today.
